This year they were on the annual location, Monday, October 17, 2016 at 5:30 p.m. Our Monarch Fall Roost in a deep draw beside a spring on several hardwood trees. Chinkapin oak, Black Jack oak and Spanish oak.

There are many ice weed and milkweed plants for nectaring. Overnight temperatures were 68-70 and winds 3-5 out of the south and very sheltered from the wind.
More than 300!
