At 12:25 PM, I observed a female monarch at the corner of US HWY-23 and Pine Street in Harrisville TWP feeding on a Knapweed flower. I went to Harrisville State Park and Harrisville Harbor and saw none to 3:30 PM. The temperature was a high of 70F on a mostly sunny day with the wind SW-11. This is the latest monarch in October so far since 2010 record keeping.
