At Point Pelee National Park at Tip saw 9 monarchs today between 11:30am & 1:30 pm!!

Full sun, 8°c(without windchill) upon arrival & departure. 'Feels like' was 2°c!!
29kmh NNW wind. Less windy on east side of Tip which was warm & pleasant. Saw all but 1 of 9 monarchs just flitting about on east side & on trees basking in sun.
Upon leaving Tip area observed 1 monarch flit over west path just south of Tip parking lot.
Did not see any with tags. All seen were male. Also did not see any arrive or depart....there were simply staying/flitting close to trees & settling to bask in sun.
Did not observe any nectaring on nearby Short's Asters.
