Sightings report image

Date: 10/23/2016

Number: 1

The latecomers are getting a chance this year. First frost has not yet occurred at my house and the flowers are still blooming. This male came to the dwarf butterfly bush at midday where he shares the nectar with an American Lady. It is 58 degrees on the way to 70. This is the first migrant this fall that has chosen the butterfly bush over the sunflowers. Temps go back into the 50s this week.
