It was a sunny & breezy afternoon, in the upper 60s!
It was about 2:30 p.m. and I was soooo surprised to see a Monarch hovering around in my backyard! It landed on the Mexican Torch sunflowers and only stayed for about an hour, then flew to the South! I didn't think I'd see anymore Monarchs around here, since it's been so cold at night (in the 30s!) What a surprise!!
