Oh my gosh! It was so cold in southern Ontario yesterday (10/22), only reaching 8 C in the afternoon, but 3 monarchs managed to get warmed up and flew by the hawk watch platform. 8.5 hours of observation
I went out there today (10/23), hoping to catch eagles as they had 5 bald and three golden eagles yesterday. No eagles, but can you believe it that after I left about 1 pm, one monarch flew by!!!!!!
