She came over the house at 2:45 and landed on a sunflower head that had lost its petals. She did not feed, only rested. Frost early this morning missed this backyard, leaving the sunflowers thriving. Veiled sunlight added some warmth but the air temperature was a cool 53 degrees F. After about 5 minutes she flew to the top of a bare tree branch and in a few minutes flew off to the southwest.
