8-10 monarchs feeding steadily since 8:00 am CDT. Drawn to blooming Texas mountain laurels (Sephora secundaflora). As sun hits tropical milkweed, some monarchs feeding on those. By mid-afternoon, October 27, monarchs were joined br dozens of other butterflies, including swallowtails and queens. Numbers of monarchs steady for past four days. Wonderful.
