At 6:30 p.m. I observed 1 male nectaring in the mexican sunflowers. He did not pay attention to the milkweed in the area. Temperature was in 80's today. Tomorrow I will look for eggs on milkweed just in case another butterfly, a female was here. If I should find eggs I wonder what I should do as it is so late in the season........
