We've seen many adult Monarch butterflies this entire month. We've had eggs, caterpillars, and crysalises. Not one has hatched (bloomed as I call it). Many of the caterpillars turned brown and dried up and the same is happening with the crysalises. We cannot figure out what is happening. We had a couple of days where the nighttime temperatures were down in the 50's, but most of the month of October has been highs in 80's and lows in 60's. We had alot of them in April of this year and most of them bloomed. Does anyone have any ideas what might be happening?
