Unbelievably, I found a a large Monarch caterpillar on my tropical milkweed today. Last night we had a frost warning, but no frost. 98 percent of my milkweed is gone. This cat found one of the few remaining plants left! Think I will try to get the chrysalis if it makes it, take it inside to protect it and release on a mild day. Never saw a cat this late before!
