Monarch Fall Roost
Sightings report image

Date: 11/02/2016

Number: 30

I've been seeing 2 butterflies every evening, but tonight there were at least 20 in the butterfly bushes, a few trying out the basil flowers, and then, I looked at a low branch of the pecan tree, and there were 20+ monarchs sleeping overnight. It worries me right now because we have just had a rain storm with winds move in from the northwest at 10:00 PM. (Cooler weather tomorrow.) I hope the little guys will be ok tonight through the rain.
