Found 3 Monarch caterpillars on milkweed type bush I planted by my backdoor. Two of them disappeared and I found the 3rd curled up in the dirt. Also found a big spider under a rock at the base of the plant and wonder if it killed the two. Placed remaining caterpillar in clean jar with plant.he/she ate hugely for 2-3 days. I cleaned debris from jar each day.
Two days ago Nov 1 found he'd converted to green pupae. Pupae shows no signs of infection so we may have a butterfly soon.+
