The soil is a mix of rocky and clay. Excited to see if Central Texas winter gets cold enough to send Tulips into dormancy. We planted the tulips along a North facing fence. There is about 3 hrs of direct sunlight, otherwise it is dappled or in shade. We covered the area with mulch and there is an irrigation system that waters 2x weekly for 15 min.
