We have seen hundreds of monarchs on Eleuthera. Is this an alternate wintering grounds, or did they get blown off course by the hurricane?

We have probably seen well over 1000 monarchs here, but never in a group. We have seen them everywhere on the island- got here Oct 25 and will be here through Nov. 7. We gave been here many times, last year at the same time frame, but have never seen monarchs here like this. I will try to catch some photos tomorrow.
