I saw a large, beautiful female monarch fluttering around milkweed. Observing her more closely I could see that she was laying eggs. I didn't have my camera available at that time, but I went back later and found a few of the eggs that she had laid. Did not have time to look thoroughly, but did find 4 eggs where she had been active.
