And then there was one! One monarch seen today at Point Pelee National Park at the Tip at 12:30 pm.
It flitted south about 25' above the east shoreline, gained altitude fluttering SE out over Lake Erie & quickly disappeared from view. I managed one shot ...there it is to the right of a duck in flight!! There were a lot of ducks in flight today! And the TIP was a bit shorter than yesterday.
On this, another gorgeous November day, both sides of the Tip were quite calm with a light S wind at 9 kmh. Temp was 15°c/60°f upon arrival at the park around 11:30 am. A warm 18°c/66°f upon departure at 2:30 pm.
Temps cooling down from here on....the next 10 day high will be 14°c & that's tomorrow.
