Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 11/07/2016

Number: 2

Caught two hummers feeding at the southeast feeder in the space of 2 minutes. The first one looked like a full blown male Ruby - drank only a short time. Within 30 seconds of him leaving, a female, again of unknown species, came and fed on the other side of the feeder for a bit. No color or markings on her throat. Temps have been on the warm side of normal here north of Lake Conroe the last few weeks. Back to normal today - 50s to 70s
