Monarch butterfly (1) seen at 2:55 p.m. Mostly cloudy, air temp 53 degrees; wind @ 10 - 15 mph from the north. Butterfly was moving erratically in a SW direction along a tree line on mostly open farm land. Flying at elevation of about 15 to 20 feet. Unable to get a picture. We have already had several frosts over night.

Note: saw one on 11/8/15 several miles from here on a sunny morning at my home.
