Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 11/06/2016

Number: 1

Sun. 6 Nov. 2016 2 pm:
1 poor lone monarch sighted near shore of Lake Ontario, Hamilton Ontario, flying south west against 10 mph west wind. After 2 weeks of unseasonable warm weather 50-60 F in southern Ontario. Two months late, and still a long way to go to Mexico where most monarchs have already arrived. Hope it's gets south of the Great Lakes before the killer frost arrives here Nov.11. - R.Dermott.
