The Rufous Hummingbirds ARE here! Saw 2 sub-adult males, 1 female along with a single Ruby-throat Hummingbird. The latter could not have been a female Rufous as it had a fully developed ruby gorget with its green body.

We did not have any Rufous Hummingbirds last winter. And after arriving in December of last year, they disappeared. Hopefully, these three will encourage others to overwinter here.
