7am (Cst) It was still rather dark outside but some light. My husband saw 1 hummingbird feeding mainly on our 'Love & Wishes' Salvia in a very large container. I had just taken my feeder up for the season as I had not seen any activity since 10/18th or 10/19th. So I made a small batch of sugar sol., cooled it off & hung feeder back out just in case. We have not been up & looking that early so may be missing a lot of sightings. This is the latest date so far in the Season for my Hummingbird watching. I did not see him again that morning but I cannot see well due to the Cataracts. But getting my 1st Cataract off soon! I will be able to see the Hummingbirds better in Spring of 2017. My husband said he was rather "large".
