Monarch Adult Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 11/16/2016

Number: 10

While not seeing the large numbers others are seeing. We are seeing a sparse but steady flow of monarchs through the Eastern Coastal area, And interestingly, I witnessed a pair mating in Fort Macon Park. And several days later, I saw what appeared to be a female going through the motions of laying eggs on a red cedar tree in park. I collected the branch but was unable to find any eggs.
