During our visit to the gulf coast to celebrate thanksgiving, we brought with us the last 2 monarch chrysalys from eggs collected and raised several weeks back in Black Mountain, NC. We gave them a several day head start on there journey, which I'm sure they would have had a hard time making with the cold and lack of nectar up in the mountains.
We saw many of there friends fluttering about on St. George island and in the town of apalachicola.
