I totally forgot about our tulips until I got a reminder e-mail. Today was the nicest day this week so we planted 50 tulip bulbs this afternoon. We have most of them in one garden bed in the courtyard. Ten are in the garden bed next to it. We did plant one bulb upside down because the kids wanted to see if it would still grow. The sun was out and it was 55 degrees F. It was a beautiful day to be outside and to plant tulips. All 100 kids in the first grade took a tulip bulb home to plant as well. We are excited to watch them emerge in the spring.
