Hummingbird Sighting
Sightings report image

Date: 12/14/2016

Number: 2

We have had two hummingbirds for the past month, even during the recent snow storms they both are still around. The one pictured sits in the tree sunning himself and drops down to the feeder for some nectar then back up to the branch. There is a second one that appears during the day but it's chased off. They both disappear for the evening but reappear in the morning waiting for us to put out the feeders. We change the feeders regularly throughout the day as they freeze up in this weather.
