Apologies, photo is very grainy. This eagle landed in our yard mid-morning yesterday and hung around in various in our yard for about an hour. My husband was beyond excited and tried his best to get some good shots but he is not the best with his phone camera. We have a creek at the end of our yard that is directly attached to the Catawba River and figured the eagle must have come from that direction. Hoping this beautiful bird comes back for a visit very soon!
