Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 12/31/2016

Number: 1

At 7:15 a.m since 12/26/16 I have been noticing a flash of most likely a hummingbird that has apparently been roosting in the 20 foot Holly tree. It goes above the patio flying the same route westerly just before daybreak. I am out feeding our koi daily at the same time. Today it was starting to rain so I went back in to grab an umbrella determined to see it again. Just as I got back out there it went again.Since it is barely light it looks black.
It doesnt come to feeders yet or any nectar flowers we have blooming that just stay closed
This is driving me to the point that I have asked several others does the same hummer thing encounter them. It does indeed throw us off.
