Today Jan 7 2017, at 10h17 Am, we saw a Bald Eagle landing on the ice of the Richelieu River-Lake Champlain, 2 miles north of Rouses Point (NY), coordinates 45.017316, -73.352056

It took some kind of food on the ice covering the river and left further north.
