We have had quite the adventure trying to get our tulips planted this year. Our second grade GATE students were intending to plant last Tuesday, January 10, but we came to school to find someone had cleaned out the fridge and thrown all of our bulbs away! Thankfully, we found someone who could get us some more bulbs just in time for us to plant them this morning. The weather is very rainy here today, but we were able to plant the tulips just before the rain hit. The temperature is about 50 degrees.
