Tulips EMERGED

Date: 01/18/2017

Number: 100

The weather has been unusually wet and cold in San Diego, CA. The soil temperature is 62 degrees with air temp about 70. We have had rain weekly for over a month. Typically, our winter is cool with some rain. This winter is cold for us and we have received more rain in the last month than typically see in an entire year. The bulbs were planted in a raised bed which receives direct sunlight for more than three hours a day.

We also planted an additional 100 bulbs in different locations around our school. In planter with irrigation, at different depths, and a variety of different variables. These were planted December 1, 2016.

We hope to hear what is going on in other gardens around the world. Please contact us.
