Solitary monarch hovering around flowering hibiscus; have seen several in the past several weeks, feeding on bottle brush and the few flowering plants left after my attempt at establishing butterfly gardens were decimated by salt water inundation by hurricane Hermine. I have a very few milkweed seedlings that sprouted, one looks chewed. Will examine.
