American Robins have arrived in Leander in massive waves. Every morning and evening, the sky is filled with thousands of them!
They've taken over the yard, eating berries from juniper trees and hanging out by the water garden and bird bath. They've been coming in droves for about a week. We've never seen them here before!
On our property each morning, we’ve seen probably about a 100 on their busiest days. Every morning and evening, the sky is filled with thousands of them — as many as 5,000 birds! I’ve attached a grainy pic of what it looks like at sunset around here these days.
We’ve been in Leander for 2.5 years, and have never seen this until now.
