Initially spotted approximately 12 robins feeding on fallen tree fruits on the sidewalk and snow-covered ground on Nottingham Road in Grosse Pointe Park at about 1:30 p.m. Jan. 31. Extensive Robin song was heard, and the wave rose up into large trees, revealing that they were joining a large number of fellow Robins - stopped counting at 50.
