I saw many, many robins earlier and the next time I walked past the same trees were full of cedar waxwings and robins all feeding on the crab apples. I am not sure I have EVER seen a cedar waxwing before. I knew they were native to Nebraska, but they rarely come anyplace I can see them. Such a treat to see so many of both these birds on Groundhog Day!
