Large flocks of Robins around the trees near Costco on Debar. They swarmed the mountain ash tree on the right side of the warehouse as looking from the front. I have pictures but they are on my phone, so I will have to post them separately.
I could not imagine there being robins in Alaska in the winter, so I posted them on facebook with the caption – robin-like birds. I also did not know that robins traveled in large flocks like that. My niece, who is an avid bird watcher from Ohio, agreed that they were robins.
