Hummingbird, Other Species Sighted

Date: 02/02/2017

Number: 3

We have had Anna's hummingbirds here all winter. At least one male and two females. They have survived -12C weather and days which didn't get above -4C. Other than my feeder I think they survived on insects in the estuary, as that was the direction they headed after feeding. Looks like one more cold snap/snow and things will get much easier for them.
