Robin (First SEEN)

Date: 02/13/2017

Number: 1

While making an observation of over a hundred robins on Monday 13 February 2017, I looked in the backyard into our lonely tree and saw a male robin sitting there singing. It sounded beautiful and amazing to hear it, especially after a major snowfall the day before. It was the first time this year hearing a robin.

Editor's note: We have moved this report to Robin (FIRST Seen) since the robin was "tuning up" as hormone level rise rather than proclaiming territory which is meant to drive off other robins and a prelude to nesting.
