Robin (First SEEN)

Date: 02/18/2017

Number: 2

2 males are now here and singing beautifully. They are also chasing each other around the property.

I think these two are just 'tuning up' although the one definitely sings the morning song and then works his way into true song . So far I have not heard that non stop singing but I've been gone most of the morning. I just spent 15 mins watching. One was alone at the top of the big oak tree...totally quiet until the other one flew in. The more aggressive one then started hopping from limb to limb towards the second, giving out a quick 'cheep-cheep'. They both finally took off in different directions.
I often wonder..are these the same ones that raised their young here last year? Is it possible these two males are family members? Neither one has yet to put out the call for a female but I expect they will soon!
