first local sightings this morning. Many, many canada geese, mallard ducks, some snow geese. Will be interesting if the forecasted winter storm with 7-14 " predicited inches of snow and wind arrive. Today the redwing blackbirds males also were seen perching high on the branches of willows along wetlands. Some maple sap collecting occuring also.
