Hiking with 12 preschoolers from Dodge Nature Preschool at Dodge Nature Center. The children saw the robin fly and land on a nearby tree branch above them. They know Robins eat worms so they began digging holes in the thawing ground to try and find some worms for the robin. First sighting this spring. With the interesting temperature changes and thawing, refreezing and melting again of the shallow creeks at the nature center the teacher has been asking the young learners, is it winter or spring?
