Hi Elizabeth and Citizen Scientists, my first visit to El Rosario to see the wintering Monarch's before their final flight due north was as Estela mentioned, simply spectacular! It was like being inside nature's jewel box. It truly took my breath away after wondering since childhood where the Monarchs were flying to? Well now I know... a very, very special place that must be preserved forever. I urge everyone to grow milkweed and nectar flowers that will protect the precious Monarchs and their mysterious migrations!
