Hummingbird, Ruby-throated (FIRST)

Date: 03/09/2017

Number: 1

Hi, Journey Folks, This cute lone little guy arrived yesterday morning (Thursday, 3/9/17) at his usual feeding place in our patio and scolded for his food ! His syrup was promptly prepared and served, and he has been feeding there constantly throughout today, 3/10/17. This marks the beginning of the hummies' summer visit with us. Welcome back, Hummies! -- p.s. We missed the February visit. Usually (most years), a lone female hummy makes a brief visit in February and then leaves. Then the annual stay begins in March. A point hummy visit?
