Cajun Prairie Gardens, March 11:

We have 500 milkweed plants in the gardens: Asclepias tuberosa, A. perennis, A. viridis, A. lanceolata and A. subverticillata. All are growing well--three weeks ahead of schedule. A. viridis is blooming. No Monarchs seen yet.
