Though emergence occurred at approximately the same time, growth in Mifflin Park's 2016-17 Tulip Test Garden bed is much slower in contrast to the bulbs in last year's bed which were left in the ground. 1st and 4th grade citizen scientist buddies are offering conjectures as to why there is such a big difference. Of course, we're also wondering how the predicted late season blizzard will affect our tulip blooms.
