The robins have come to our heated birdbath since last year. Each year they look miserable if it is snowing and the other seed eaters are at the feeders. This year I put out sliced apples,craisins, dried mealy worms and a banana. They were suspicious of the banana but ate the entire thing, after watching starlings chow down. I am so pleased because we had a foot of hard packed snow and a bad storm that came in yesterday and the night before. Hopefully it will melt soon.
