He came to my feeder area and sat all puffed up and surveying the situation as if wondering how he was going to find food. Later, he began to hang out with my Carolina Wrens and ate peanut butter sandwich tidbits and bits of peanuts first. I also gave him some currants when I saw him sitting in the snow on my fence. Later, some days later, another male came and they flew off together. My robin is faithful to my feeder and is thinking about a bath, but I haven't seen him plunge in yet, though a sparrow did yesterday.
