Tulips BLOOMED
Sightings report image

Date: 03/20/2017

Number: 64

Last Sunday, March 12, 2017, we received one inch of snow. Then for the next 5 days we had temperatures in the 20's. Before that our average daily temperature was in the 70's. What a change! The cold temperatures damaged the petals of our tulips. It caused them to turn white. We think our tulip bed still looks beautiful. Today, the first day of spring will let us see temperatures in the 70's. What a swing of changes we have seen in the past few weeks. We are wondering if we will ever be able to plant our spring tomatoes and peppers. Stay tuned for more excitement from Prosperity-Rikard Elementary School's Fourth Graders. We are loving these exciting experiences from Mother Nature!
