All Other Signs of Spring

Early snowdrops and early (yellow) crocus were out last month. The daffodils have been out for the past two weeks, and the late (white) crocus and hyacinth have been out for barely a week. The crowing glory, though, the weeping cherry blossom, is just breaking through!

As for birds, we have seen (and heard) robins, mourning doves, junkos, wrens, chickadees, starlings.

The groundhog that hibernates under our shed has been out and about for several weeks. Yesterday s/he was under the bird table eating bird seed. We have also seen an opossum eating bird seed, a mostly white skunk running through the yard, and deer that come through late in the evening to lick up what's left of the bird seed.
