Drove out to Junction TX (150 miles due west of Austin) on Thursday and return on Sunday. No monarchs.
Spent the long week end on the south Llano river with winds strong out of the south. Every orange flash makes makes my heart skip. Lots of butterflies and birds, but no Monarchs.

Feeling like Carly Simon’s song: Anticipation…….Is making me wait….Is keeping me waiting….
